We’re running our public transport navigation night on Sunday. We do this every year as Scouts is the age at which our youth start navigating public transport themselves, particularly to/from school. The older Scouts are more used to this, but it is likely new for the younger Scouts. We do encourage Scouts to use their phones and google maps for this exercise so that they get used to how to read that when moving around. We will also Airtag the patrols so we can track where they are.

On Sunday Scouts (in their Patrols) will be navigating from Five Dock (meet outside Coles) to Greenwich Baths. This itinerary gives multiple routes and a few changes for the Scouts:

·       Meet: in the Square outside Coles Five Dock, 5:30pm Sunday

·       Pick up: 7:30pm Greenwich Baths, Albert Steet, Greenwich (maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/bG2SJazjJrAdUEdZA)

·       Bring: phone with google maps (OK if you don’t have one as Scouts can share), Opal card with $5.00 for transport.

·       Wear: Full scout uniform
