Activity Overview

• Cubs will go sailing with our fleet of RS Zest sailboats on an adveture of Hen and Chicken bay!
• Limited numbers - only available to 19 cubs.
• Opportunity to complete OAS level 2 boating.
• Parents spectator boat may be available (TBC)

10am - Scouts & Venturers arrive at hall to prepare for activity

11am - Cubs arive at hall for 30min briefing 

11:30am - Cubs depart from hall on thier allocated RS Zest

1-2pm - Cubs return to hall for debriefing and activity end

3pm - Scouts & Venturers finish time

Preparation

• Cubs will need to have completed OAS level 1 to participate in this activity - please speak to leaders to get this signed off before the activity

Clothing & Equipment

• Warm clothes to wear on the water
• Water shoes - not negotiable cubs will not be allowed to participate without water shoes
• A change of clothes and a towel incase of capsize
• Drink bottle

• This activity will be conducted under direct or indirect adult supervision. Both male and female leaders will be present.
