ANZAC Day is a significant and meaningful occasion for many Australians—a time to honour those who have served our nation, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we may enjoy the freedoms we have today. We encourage all youth members who are available to make every effort to attend and proudly represent our Group on this important day.
The march will commence at Five Dock RSL and proceed to the Five Dock Park Memorial, where the official ANZAC service will be held. Following the ceremony, Rotary will be providing a BBQ lunch for participants.
All Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, and Rovers attending must wear FULL SCOUT UNIFORM. This includes black shoes, navy shorts, trousers, or skirt (no denim or tracksuits), Scout shirt, and hat.
Representatives from each section will play an active role in the service, including carrying group flags, forming the official colour party, and assisting in the laying of wreaths. Your participation helps uphold the spirit of ANZAC and reflects the values of Scouting within our community.
